IT Summer Program
The summer program for the Chinese Cultural Experience in Beijing is a good opportunity to spread the Chinese culture and let the world know about the picture of modern China. It is initiated by Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT). We welcome students from all countries around the world to our summer program.

About the Program

The program will last 3 weeks in July and English will be the official language. The program will offer you:
A personal visiting experience of Fortune 500 Companies: Tours to the leading and innovative IT companies will be arranged, and Huawei, China Mobile, IBM China, Baidu and Lenovo are on the contact list. Participants of the program will visit China Telecom Museum and China Academy of Urban Planning & Design as well.

An opportunity to learn Chinese:

Participants of the program will have the opportunity to learn basic Chinese at International Chinese Training Centre of BUPT. The International Chinese Training Centre of BUPT was established in 1986. Over the past 25 years, it has trained students from more than 40 countries around the world, including the USA, Canada, Japan, South Korea, France, Germany, Switzerland, and so on. There is no doubt that our excellent teaching team will give you an enjoyable Chinese learning experience.
An opportunity to experience traditional Chinese culture:

Various cultural activities and social programs are planned for the participants as well. Participants will not only learn Kong Fu, Chinese calligraphy, paper-cutting and appreciate Peking Opera. They will also have a chance to visit local families to enjoy common people’s daily life in Beijing and make traditional Chinese food together with them.

Culture tour：
The theme of history and culture is to explore and taste the profound heritage of Chinese culture by visiting museums and classical places of interest.
Theme of arts and culture: participants will taste the esthetic interests of Chinese people by learning the Chinese calligraphy, drama, music and other arts through classical works.
Theme of folk cultures: they will feel the charms of Chinese folk arts by watching the performance of folk artists and making handicrafts with their own hands; they also will feel the boundless joy of Chinese folk sports by playing Taiji quan and diabolo and kicking shuttlecocks.
Participants will have a party with the Chinese students; sing and dance together; the Chinese students will display their after school activities.
An interesting trip around Beijing:

Beijing is famous for its political effects as well as its fantastic scenic spots. During the program, participants will have a chance to visit the Great Wall, Summer Palace, Tiananmen Square, Temple of Heaven, the Forbidden City Museum, the History Museum, the Beijing Zoo, Beihai Park and many other historical places.

Accommodation:
Participants will reside in university dormitories. The dorm will be a double-bed room, 24 hours hot water, air–conditioning, WIFI, public kitchen, etc.
